Molly Renshaw and Michael Jamieson win gold medals – British International

Ervin Anthony and Molly Renshaw pocketed gold medals of the Men’s 50m freestyle and Women’s 200m breaststroke respectively at the 2013 British International.

With her astounding pace, she remained nearly two body lengths ahead of her toughest challenger and posted an effort of 2 minutes and 28.25 seconds.

The gold medallist was followed by Stacey Tadd, who stayed 2.28 seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and cruised her way towards the finishing end for silver medal by producing a time of 2 minutes and 30.53 seconds.

The silver medallist was followed by Kerry Buchan, who remained 0.29 seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and tapped the wall with an effort of 2 minutes and 30.82 seconds for bronze medal.

Fourth spot of the race was gained by Sophie Taylor, who stayed 1.11 seconds apart and settled on the wall with the timing of 2 minutes and 31.93 seconds.

Taylor was followed by Georgina Evans, who remained 0.65 seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and posted an effort of 2 minutes and 32.58 seconds for fifth place.

On the other hand, Jamieson occupied gold medal of the 100m breaststroke in Men’s corner. Jamieson stayed only two arm strokes ahead of his following swimmer and occupied the title with an effort of 1 minute and 00.82 seconds.

The first position holder was chased by Christopher Steeples, who stayed 0.26 seconds behind and finished second in the race by producing a time of 1 minute and 01.08 seconds.

The second position holder was traced by Robert Holderness, who remained 0.39 seconds apart and surfaced on the finishing end for bronze medal with the timing of 1 minute and 01.47 seconds.

The third fastest swimmer was trailed by Adam Peaty, who remained only an inch behind and settled on the wall for fourth position with the timing of 1 minute and 01.66 seconds.

Fifth fastest spot of the reason was obtained by Andrew Willis of Bracknell, who was 0.10 seconds apart and tapped the wall with the timing of 1 minute and 01.76 seconds.

In addition, the position holders received medals and accolades for their notable efforts at the victory ceremony of the tournament.
