Gripped by loneliness, sunk in sadness
Tuesday, March 19th, 2013 8:34:40 by Muhammad Qasim HassanSometimes, it feels as if you are all alone in this world, as if there is absolutely nobody who acknowledges or appreciates the fact that you exist.
This feeling of isolation can be extremely difficult to deal with. The mind keeps getting heavy as negative thoughts keep filling it up. It is impossible to keep these thoughts out, since there is nobody to convince you that you are not actually alone, but are just being paranoid.
The paranoia that you find yourself sunk in is not without merit. You do not have anyone to share your happiness with. You do not have anyone to tell you that it will be okay when the going gets tough. Nobody is there to lend you a hand when you fall down.
It is so hurtful to see the world continue to spin, paying no attention to you or the pain that you are suffering. You can scream at the top of your lungs and the only thing that people would hear is their own voice and the voice of those who matter.
Life was never meant to be fair. Hardships, injustice, pain, all these things were expected to be a regular occurrence. What nobody really prepared himself for was the fact that he might have to face all this alone, with no kind of support from anywhere. Why would anyone support a loser? Unfortunately, that is precisely what you are, a loser! You can run from this fact as much as you want to, but sooner or later, it will catch up to you and hit you hard on your face, knocking you back into your senses and opening your eyes to your sad and unfortunately reality.
The feeling of isolation is a painful one indeed. If you lack emotional strength, it will only be a matter of time before you get consumed by your loneliness and consider bringing your existence to an end once and for all.
