Many gunners played part in their International duties last weekend.
Olivier Giroud
Olivier Giroud played a vital role in France’s victory over Georgia. He scored the opening goal in their home and played the whole match. His fellow gunner and countryman, Laurent Koscielny, was an unused substitute for this match.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
In England’s massive 8-0 victory over San Marino, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain was on the score sheet. After 28 minutes, he exchanged passes with Wayne Rooney before netting the goal with his left foot. He led his country 2-0 up with his amazing goal.
Aaron Ramsey
Welsh star, Aaron Ramsey was also on the score sheet in his side victory against Scotland. His team was a goal behind when they made an epic comeback and eventually recorded a 2-1 victory. Ramsey fired the equaliser from the penalty spot after 73 minutes. However, he was booked for the second time in the injury time and was eventually sent off form the Hampden Park.
Santi Cazorla
Arsenal playmaker, Santi Cazorla, was in the starting line-up in Spain’s squad. His side equalised with Finland by 1-1 score line. However, he failed to score and was substitute in the half time. Another gunner, Nacho Monreal, was part of the Spain squad as well. However, he stayed on bench and was unused in this battle.
Wojciech Szczesny
Wojciech Szczescny was in Poland’s squad against Ukraine. He was unused in this match. However, his side bowed out to Ukraine with a 1-3 loss and their hopes of qualifying for the world cup were further dented.
Thomas Vermaelen
Thomas Vermaelen played the whole 90 minutes match with his side, Belgium. His team recorded a vital 2-0 victory against Macedonia. However, he was booked in the 36 minute.
