Axiata Cup 2013: Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk outplays Nguyen Hoang Nam in Men’s Singles clash

Thailand’s talented player Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk put up a wonderful display of his elevated craft on court and outplayed Nguyen Hoang Nam of Vietnam in Men’s Singles clash at Axiata Cup 2013 on Sunday, March 24, in Indonesia.

The impressive Tanongsak was in smashing form on court as he played with incredible speed and remained successful in registering a comprehensive victory against his Vietnamese rival while consuming just 20 minutes in the arena.

Thai shuttler started his campaign in a dominating manner and remained on driving seat throughout the battle. He ended up this fight quite easily in straight sets with a crushing 21-15 and 21-14 score on the board.

On the contrary, Hoang Nam failed to respond effectively against the aggressive play of his Thai challenger. He could not put up strong show at any stage and ultimately went down against Tanongsak in two sets without impressive the crowd.

In the starting game, the impressive Tanongsak delivered a spectacular performance on court as he executed shots with deception from starting rallies.

Tanongsak was quite quick in getting the bird early and he did not face any complication in placing his strokes in right areas.

Until the end of first half of first set, the incredible Tanongsak stayed in commanding position in the arena and remained successful in building a strong lead on the score board.

After the mid-game interval, the in-form Thai shuttler did not show any mercy to his Vietnamese challenger at any stage and dictated him in all corners of the court easily.

Tanongsak was quite calm and composed in the arena as he did not play negative badminton and ended up the first set with a stunning difference of 21-15.

Tanongsak did not lose his concentration at any stage in the starting half of second game as he played with control and precision.

The hard to return smashes and net killings kept Tanongsak ahead of his opponent all the way until the end of first part in second game.

This shuttler continued playing attacking badminton in the concluding half as he did not lose his focus at any stage and easily bagged the set by a superb score of 2-14 and sealed off a striking victory in straight sets.
