Axiata Cup 2013: Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka outplays Mark Shelley Alcala in Men’s Singles clash

The in-form local shuttler played to his maximum potential and he remained successful in winning the clash against Alcala in a crushing manner while consuming just 30 minutes on court.
Indonesian shuttler was in smashing form as he did not let the pace of rallies down at any stage in the match and easily finished it off in straight games with a staggering 21-12 and 21-9 score on the board.
On the other hand, the underdog Alcala failed to play competitive badminton against his local challenger. He failed to create pressure on Rumbaka at any stage in the match and eventually bowed down in a meagre way.
Rumbaka delivered extremely well from the initial points of first game as he played with amazing speed and took over the control from his confused rival who could not play attacking badminton.
The speed of the rallies was very fast in first game and the Indonesian shuttler entertained his home fans with his tremendous attacking skills and remained ahead on the board.
The impressive Rumbaka did not show any respect to his aggressive Pilipino rival in the first part of opening set and secured a tremendous lead on the board.
After the one-minute break, the aggressive Rumbaka stayed focused on court and remained successful in maintaining a huge lead without facing any considerable trouble.
Rumbaka did not reduce the pace of the game at any stage and easily took the opening game with a staggering 21-12 score on the board.
In the second set, the lofty Rumbaka played with superb speed without leaving any chance for Alcala to find a good flow and remained in complete command of rallies.
The cracking smashes and net killings kept Rumbaka ahead of his confused rival all the way until the one-minute break in second game.
Rumbaka continued putting up sound show in the concluding part of second set and he remained successful in winning it in a lopsided manner with a stunning 21-9 margin on score board.
