Lee Chong Wei tames Arvind Bhat in Men’s Singles first round of Australian Badminton Open 2013

The World Number One Chong Wei, who is the top seed in main draw of the Australian Open, was fully focused on court and he remained successful in winning opening round contest against his un-seeded Indian challenger in just 31 minutes.
Malaysian shuttler was quite comfortable in his attacking play and he kept his rival moving around in all areas of the court. He took the opening set easily but had to work hard in the second game to seal off a straight-set victory with a margin of 21-10 and 21-18.
Meanwhile, the lower ranked Arvind could not find a good flow in the start of the match and lost the opening game without playing good badminton. However, he showed glimpses of his brilliance in the second game but failed to occupy the driving seat in ending points and lost the match with a reasonable margin.
It was an interesting fight in the opening points when Chong Wei showed a wonderful display of his skills on court. The aggressive approach of Malaysian shuttler assisted him to continue his domination against his challenger in the arena.
Until the end of first part of starting game, the remarkable Chong Wei obtained a strong position on score board by taking a reasonable lead.
Arvind tried his best to put up strong resistance but remained unable to take charge of the game and remained struggling in the concluding part.
Chong Wei was very calm and composed on court as he did not commit mistakes and won the first game with a staggering difference of 21-10.
Arvind geared up his speed to play smart badminton in the first part of second set and remained successful in setting up a reasonable lead until the end of opening half.
After the one-minute break. The Top seeded Malaysian man geared up his speed and ended up the deficit with his aggressive and tricky play.
Chong Wei continued putting up positive show in the concluding points of the second game and he remained successful in finishing up the second game with a reasonable total of 21-18.
