Manoj Kumar files lawsuit against Shahrukh Khan

Actor Manoj Kumar filed a case against Shahrukh Khan at Andheri court on Tuesday

The actor’s verification statement has been recorded and next date of hearing is april 6 . It maybe recalled here that Manoj Kumar had objected to defamatory scenes mocking him in Shah Rukh Khan’s film Om Shanti Om in 2007.

The actor had apologised and promised to delete the scene but the film released in japan without deleting scenes to which Manoj Kumar has objected.

“The film was released in Japan without deleting those scenes. I had forgiven them twice but not this time. They have disrespected me. They also face contempt of court as in 2008 the court had asked them to forever and from all prints and broadcast material, delete those scenes,” “Manoj Kumar told PTI earlier.

Manoj kumar has evidence produced is the email from Shahrukh Khan where he has confessed an apology to Manoj Kumar that his mockery scene was played and apart from this Manoj Kumar would produce a cd as evidence which has the clipping of mockery scene.

‘Om Shanti Om’, a 2007 musical romcom had Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead. It was produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Eros International and directed by Farah Khan.

It seems that the actor is in no mood for settlement
