Finnish Open 2013: Rajiv Ouseph beats Dmytro Zavadsky to wrap up Men’s Singles title

The top seeded Rajiv, who has been impressive in all matches in the championship, continued his dominating performance in the title match where he easily registered a comprehensive victory over the second seeded Zavadsky in just 31 minutes.
Rajiv started his run in the final battle in a confident and aggressive manner and kept a firm control over the pace of rallies. He remained focused all the way and won the match in straight sets with a comfortable margin of 21-16 and 21-12.
The second seeded Zavadsky, meanwhile, played competitive badminton in the opening set but failed to stay consistent and eventually went down against his in-form English rival in two sets.
In the first set, the impressive Rajiv delivered a staggering feat on court as he played shots with commanding control from opening points.
By playing controlled and attacking badminton, Rajiv proved that he has got top class skills on court and ultimately remained successful in getting a strong position on court.
English shuttler did not show any mercy to his Ukrainian challenger as he was in complete control of the pace of rallies until the end of first half.
On the other hand, the confused Zavadsky failed to get stronger after the one-minute interval as he lost his focus on court and remained struggling.
Rajiv did not reduce the pace of rallies at any stage and easily grabbed the opening game with a reasonable 21-16 margin on the score board.
In the second game, Rajiv played with stunning speed without sparing any opportunity for Zavadsky to get a good rhythm.
The powerful smashes and net killings kept Rajiv ahead of his rival all the way until the one-minute interval in second game.
Zavadsky could not show strong performance in the second set of this contest as his in-form opponent Rajiv played positive badminton and grabbed the game with a comfortable 212121 score on the board.
