Bacary Sagna praises his team after they outclassed West Bromwich Albion – Football News

Bacary Sagna believes that Arsenal’s current run of form will lead to their success. He is delighted with his team’s recent performance at the Hawthorns against West Bromwich Albion.

Thomas Rosicky was on fire as he hit the brace and led his side to glory. The Czech International scored the opener after half hour from start of the match and took Arsenal 1-0 up. The scores stayed same in the opening half.

In the following half, Rosicky maintained his intensity doubled the lead for Arsenal in 50^th minute. After receiving pass from Aaron Ramsey, Rosicky fired the ball in. Despite Forster saving the ball, the Czech showed remained calm and smashed the ball again.

Per Mertesacker received red card in the 70^th minute, eventually causing West Bromwich to lower the trail. James Morrison scored after taking the penalty. However, Arsenal managed to hold off West Bromwich and stole the limelight.

With this massive victory, Arsenal lowered trail against their rivals at the Barclays English Premier League. They are now just two points behind against their arch rivals Tottenham Hotspurs with a game in hand. In addition to this, the Red Army is lagging behind with two points against their London rivals, Chelsea.

“It was really hard,” Sagna told Arsenal Player. “We were 2-0 up but we put ourselves in trouble, losing some stupid balls and they managed to score. We knew it was going to be difficult in their stadium with their fans but we managed to keep going, we managed to fight until the end and we managed to take the three points. Winning is really massive. We knew we have to take it game by game and take maximum points.”

Arsenal will next take on Norwich City at the Emirates Stadium.
