Qadri again in action, plans anti-election protest

He said a corrupt government will come into power as a result of the forthcoming elections‚ which is unacceptable.
Addressing a rally of Pakistan Awami Tehreek in Lahore on telephone on Sunday‚ he said articles 62 and 63 of the constitution are being violated and the Election Commission has given a title of “Sadiq and Ameen” to “political dacoits.”
Qadri said only tax evaders and looters will come into power through ballot. He said workers of the PAT will hold sit-ins outside polling stations throughout the country on the polling day.
Earlier‚ a rally was taken out in Lahore against holding of general elections.
Qadri’s led a long-march on Islamabad and ended it after four years with some promises by the former PPP government. However, the government did not fulfill any of pledges with him.
He lost his petitions in the Supreme Court and had been silence for weeks. But he came with remarks against elections on Sunday.
