Imran Khan accuses Shehbaz of failing to end power shortage

Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf, Imran Khan, Thursday said that Shehbaz Sharif has failed to end load-shedding in Punjab despite having powers under the constitution.

Addressing a public meeting at Shakargarh he quoted constitutional provison which allows provinces to generate power.

He said that the PPP and PML-N had alliance for three-and-half year. Both had been allies in Punjab and raja Riaz of PPP was minister with Shehbaz Sharif, he said. He said Sharifs did not realize that they were part of Asif Zardari.

He said Sharifs enjoyed security of hundreds of security guards on state expenses.

Khan said days of such compromises has gone and the people want a new Pakistan, He said the people of Pakistan will celebrate the emerging of a new Pakistan on May 11 in the evening.

“We will build a new Pakistan and put the country on the path of rapid development and justicem,” the PTI chief said.

He pledged to control the inflation‚ price hike and unemployment problems if voted to power in the next general elections.

He said his party would end the politics of chronic style and will purely work for the betterment of the people.

Imran Khan said Pakistan has been trapped in the war on terror and the blood of innocent people is being shed.
