Nawaz Sharif vows to form gov’t without others’ support

Sharif emerged from the terrace of his house in the eastern city of Lahore to thank the people for their support to his Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) party. Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and several party leaders were present on the occasion.
“Although results are still coming, it has now cleared that the PML-N is emerging as the single biggest party in the elections,”
Political analysts describe Shraif’s speech as a victory speech, who mainly focused on local issues.
“I want to categorically declare that I will honour all promises I and my party leaders had made during the election campaign,” he said.
Sharif said he wants to steer the country of the difficulties, adding that he has an agenda to change the fate of the nation.
He referred to the energy shortage and said that he will try to end power outage, unemployment and poverty.
“I invite all political parties to dialogue to find out solution to these problems so the nation could take a sigh of relief and lead a prosperous life,” he said.
Sharif also announced that he has pardoned all those political opponents who had used derogatory language for him and his party.
The PML-N chief avoided criticism at any other political leaders, however, he said he will try to form government without the support of any other party.
“I appeal to the people to pray for an absolute majority to the PML-N as we do not want to beg for support of any other party,” the happy Sharif said.
“Allah Almighty has again given me the opportunity to serve you and your next generation, your elders and the youth present here,” the PML-N leader said.
He said he will work for the country and its people and will not go after personal interests.
The PML-N chief said he will prepare special plans for the welfare of the youth and to provide jobs to the unemployed youths.
