Nawaz Sharif says he will take Taliban’s dialogue offer seriously

Talking to the BBC he said revival of economy would help resolve extremism‚ terrorism‚ corruption‚ unemployment‚ poverty and remove the sense of deprivation.
Taliban offered dialogue to the government in February but later withdrew it after they did not receive any response.
Taliban had sought guarantee of Nawaz Sharif, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman and Munawar Hasan for the talks.
Mr Sharif has the golden opportunity to find out solution to the bomb attacks, which have claimed lives of 50,000 people since 2002.
To a question Nawaz Sharif he said all political parties would be taken along on important national issues. He said all the political parties would be invited to come forward to make collective efforts to strengthen the economy.
He said the political parties which got mandate in the provinces have the right to form governments and their mandates would be fully respected.
Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said Taliban’s offer for dialogue would be taken seriously.
About Balochistan he said all stake-holders should be on the same page for resolution of the issue.
About Pak-India ties he said all outstanding disputes would be discussed to improve relations between the two countries.
On Pak-US relations he hoped that relations between the two countries would remain good.
Meanwhile the US Ambassador in Pakistan‚ Richard Olsan met Nawaz Sharif in Lahore on Tuesday and felicitated him on his party’s victory in the general elections.
Shahbaz Sharif and senior PML-N leaders were also present on the occasion.
US Secretary of State, John Kerry, also telephoned Nawaz Sharif and congratulated him on winning general elections.
