PML-N prepares 100-day roadmap to address energy crisis

The PML-N has prepared a 100-day roadmap to address the economic and energy issues, the party’s central leader Sartaj Aziz said Sunday.

Taking part in Radio Pakistan he said this roadmap will be announced by the party Chief Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif after assuming the office of the Prime Minister.

Sartaj Aziz said the road map has been prepared by various committees constituted by the President of the party Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

He said the roadmap would be reflective of the PML-N manifesto to revive the national economy in the shortest possible time.

It also includes short and long term electricity generation projects to reduce load-shedding. The roadmap will also deal with circular debt to resolve this issue once and for all.

Sartaj Aziz said a task force is working on this issue as the circular debt has increased to eight hundred billion rupees. He said the main cause of load shedding was the unjust distribution of gas as well as lack of good governance in the past.

He said it would be his party’s endeavor that national resources are distributed on judicious basis.

Another leader of PML-N Ahsan Iqbal taking part in the programme said PTI and his party want to resolve the issue of terrorism through dialogue he said uplift activities would be increased in terrorist hit areas on priority basis.

He said police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ Balochistan and Sindh would be made vibrant to meet challenges of extremism and terrorism.
