JUI-F‚ MQM‚ QWP to support Nawaz Sharif for PM’s slot

The JUI-F, MQM and Qaumi Wattan Party have decided to vote for Nawaz Sharif in the election for the position of Prime Minister, to be held on Wednesday.

Talking to newsmen in Islamabad after meeting of the party’s parliamentary party on Tuesday‚ JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said a delegation of PML-N had requested his party to vote for Nawaz Sharif in the election for the slot of the Prime Minister.

He said in response‚ the core committee in its meeting‚ decided to vote for Nawaz Sharif as a goodwill gesture.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement has already announced to support Mian Nawaz Sharif in the election.

Qaumi Wattan Party -Sherpao has also announced to vote for Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the elections for the Leader of the house.

The announcement was made by QWP-S Chief Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao after a meeting with PML-N leaders Ishaq Dar and Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan in Islamabad on Tuesday afternoon.

And PML-Zia has announced to unconditionally support Mian Nawaz Sharif in the election of prime minister and Mian Shahbaz Sharif for the Punjab chief minister.

In an interview‚ the party chief Ijazul Haq said his party would fully support the new government to strengthen the democratic system in the country.
