MET office: Monsoon rain spell to continue until Tuesday

However, seasonal low lies over Northwest Balochistan and adjoining areas with its trough extending Southeast wards, he added.
The met office has predicted scattered rain-thundershower associated with gusty winds in Kashmir, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Hazara, Bannu divisions, while at isolated places of Lower Sindh (Mirpur Khas, Hyderabad, Karachi divisions). Weather will remain hot & humid in other parts of the country.
Different parts of the country received heavy rain Saturday morning.
Islamabad received the heaviest downpour, which has received 200 milimetres of rain so far.
According to Met Office, Sialkot has received 103 mm rain, Gujranwala 33 mm, Jhelum 17 mm, and Balakot and Gari Dupata 15 milimeter.
The Met Office has forecast wide-spread rain and thundershower in Kashmir, Hazara, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Sahiwal and Lahore divisions.
Isolated rain has been predicted at various places in lower Sindh during the next 12 hours.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning was: Islamabad 22 degree centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar 27, Karachi 28, Quetta 23, Murree 19, Muzaffarabad 26 and Gilgit 21 degree centigrade.
