Imran Khan lashes out at Maulana Fazal
Saturday, August 17th, 2013 3:35:57 by Tahir KhanChairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan Saturday used his address at an election rally to lash out Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman amid on-going ’s war of words between the two parties.
“There is no need for a Jew agent in Rehman’s presence,” Khan told a largely-attended public meeting at Lakky Marwat in response to Fazal’s remarks that Imran Khan is an agent of Jews.
“As he (Fazal) is in Pakistan, there is no need for a Jew agent,” the PTI chief said in his fresh verbal attack on the JUI-F chief.
He said PTI gov’t is introducing a new local bodies system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, differences between the province and other provinces would be seen in a month.
“We need a month and then I promise a major difference will be evident in Khyber Pakhtunkha and the rest of the provinces,” he said.
Imran Khan asked his supporters to be ready for the ‘decisive match’ on August 22 by-elections.
He assured that problems of the people would be resolved at local level in the new system. He said his party is also bringing in a new education and health system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Imran asked his supporters to “reach the polling stations at 7am on August 22. We will see a new era of Lakki Marwat on August 22 evening”.
He promised to bring a set of new laws that would benefit the people, and a local government system that would give the power to the people to resolve the issues of their region. He also promised to establish new schools, colleges, hospitals and sport stadiums in every district.
