ECP to review by-polls arrangements on Monday

Acting Chief Election Commissioner Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani will preside.
The main agenda of the meeting is to discuss security‚ deployment of army in and outside the polling stations and the situation created by rains and floods.
The Election Commission has decided to take the government and opposition into confidence about the arrangements being made for by-elections.
For this purpose‚ the Commission has invited Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah to attend its meeting.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will represent the Prime Minister in the meeting.
Elections will be held on 42 National and provincial assembly seats that were vacated by those members who were elected on more than one seat. Elections were not held on few seats due to the death of the candidates.
In Sindh poling will be held on three National Assembly seats including NA-245 of Sanghar‚ NA-237 of Thatta and NA-254 of Karachi east‚ whereas‚ poling will also be held on PS-12 of Shikarpur‚ PS-64 of Mirpur Khas‚ PS-95 of Karachi west and PS-103 of Karachi central.
The polling will be held from 8.0.AM to 5.00.PM without break.
