Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Pakistan’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz have underlined the need for resolving Syrian crisis through dialogue.

Both the leaders discussed the situation in Syria by the phone amid fast growing fear of the possible U.S. unilateral strikes in Syria.

President Barrack Obama has approached the Congress for strikes in Syria after snub by his Western allies in view of strong public’s opposition to the possible war.

The Iranian Foreign Minister and the Pakistani advisor noted that any military intervention in Syria would bring more instability‚ terrorism and extremism to the region, state media reported.

“The two leaders also reviewed bilateral relations and the latest regional developments especially in the Muslim world,” Radio Pakistan reported on Tuesday.
