PM for amendments in anti-terror laws

He was addressing a high level meeting on national security and law and order in the country at Raiwind in Lahore.
The Prime Minister issued directions for immediate blocking of all illegal SIMs across the country.
Director General Rangers briefed the meeting on law and order situation in Karachi.
The Prime Minister directed that more steps should be taken to restore peace and tranquility in Karachi so that confidence of the people is restored.
He said the citizens of the whole country have high expectations from law enforcement machinery in Karachi so they must deliver now.
Among others‚ Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan‚ Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani‚ Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharifthe Director General of ISI‚ IB and Rangers attended the meeting.
The meeting was being briefed on national security and law and order situation of the country.
Sources said the chiefs of ISI, Intelligence Bureau and DG Rangers also attended the meeting.
The meeting was held two days before the APC that will also discuss national security policy and the possible talks with the Taliban.
The APC will discuss the Taliban talks and the government will seek support for any such move, official said.
