PM stresses joint business ventures with Turkey

Talking to the CEO’s and Turkish businessmen in Istanbul Wednesday‚ he stressed on initiating joint business ventures between Turkish and Pakistani companies.
The Prime Minister expressed the hope that joint ventures by Pakistani and Turkish companies in other countries would result in mutual financial benefits and further strengthen cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
He assured that he would personally oversee the projects and ventures undertaken in Pakistan by the Turkish companies in order to facilitate provision of administrative and infrastructural assistance.
Earlier‚ Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited a low cost housing project in Ankara.
Turkish Minister for Housing Erdogan Bayraktar briefed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif about the housing project and told that the project constructs houses for the low income families at affordable prices.
He apprised him that under the project‚ Turkey’s slum areas had been developed into beautiful residential schemes. He expressed the interest of Turkish government to invest in Pakistan’s housing sector.
Speaking on the occasion‚ the Prime Minister invited the Turkish businessmen to invest in the housing sector in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan’s economy provides vast opportunities of investment in all sectors including housing.
