Michelle Obama to host Kalsoom Nawaz

Michelle Obama, the US first lady, was hosting Begum Kalsoom Nawaz at the White House on Thursday. Other notable people present included Dr. Jill Biden, who is the spouse of the current vice president, Joe Biden.

There were a number of issues discussed by the first ladies as they also spoke about mutual interests.

Issues which they touched included the likes of social sector development, education and health for the women of Pakistan. The meeting lasted for more than an hour and Begum Kalsoom Nawaz showed her hospitality by inviting Mrs. Obama to Pakistan.
