NAB takes action against ex-PM Raja Pervez Ashraf

NAB (National Accountability Bureau) chairman, Qamar Zaman Chaudhry has approved the statement to file a reference against the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Raja Pervez Ashraf, over misuse of power.
There are also rumours which suggest that there is a high possibility that NAB will arrest the former prime minister in order to interrogate. The decision was taken after the Executive Board Meeting.
Raja Pervez Ashraf is accused of misusing power and authority in the Rental Power Plant project.
