Sartaj Aziz believes US understand Pakistan on Drones

Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs,  Sartaj Aziz, has stated that after the meeting with Mr. Obama in the United States, he has come to the conclusion that he understands Pakistan’s stance over drones. He also gave hope that there will be a reduction in the number of drones being fired over the country.

However, he also claimed that US is not planning to make any formal announcement regarding this situation. While speaking to Geo News, Aziz expressed how Pakistan is raising the drone issue at an international level and how it was under discussion.

Aziz also spoke about holding talks with Taliban and how US believe that it is not a simple matter.

He summed up his conversation by stating that US should step up in order to resolve the Kashmir issue once and for all as the relationship between Pakistan and India can never improve without it.
