Over 30 cracker blasts in Sindh ahead of province-wide strike call

Around 30 small cracker bomb attacks in different cities of Sindh have resulted in one death and a couple of injured victims.

The small blasts reportedly took place in Hyderabad, Larkana, Dadu, Naushero Feroz,Khairpur and Kotri. Liberty Chowk and Hyder Chowk areas also saw firing along with the blasts, which killed one policeman and injured two.

While other areas reported no casualties, three vehicles were torched and a cracker was also thrown at the Mehrabpur Police Station.

No groups have come forward to take responsibility for the attack but the police believe that the explosions were carried out ahead of the province-wide strike call made by one of the banned groups.
