US Drone Strike Kills Three in North Waziristan

Despite renewed diplomatic efforts by Pakistan against the drone strikes carried out by the United States, there hasn’t been any change in approach.
On Wednesday night, US carried out another drone strike in the Zafar Town area of Miramshah Bazaar, North Waziristan, which has reportedly resulted in the death of three suspected militants. Three more people have reportedly been injured in the strikes.
It was only last week, when Pakistani Prime Minister visited the United States and urges Barack Obama, the American President, to put an end to the drone strikes. The latter however made no such commitment, and by the looks of things, the drones are here to stay.
