Two Karachi banks robbed and a guard killed in one hour

Two bank robberies hit the city of Karachi today with over 3 million rupees stolen and one security guard killed on the spot.

According to Geo News, the two robberies occurred in areas of Paposh Nagar and Bufferzone, and the casualty was in the Bufferzone area, where the guard tried to resist the robbers.

SSP Amir Farooqui has revealed that 5 armed men hit a private bank in Bufferzone and took 1.5 million rupees. They also shot the guard who tried to stop them and killed him.

The robbers have also been reported to have taken the security camera recordings with them before fleeing.

The Paposh Nagar robbery also saw armed men looting another private bank and fleeing with around 2 million rupees in cash.

Alarmingly, both these robbers occurred within one hour and reflect the deteriorating law and order situation in the city.
