Misbah ul Haq: We are the team with the advantage at the moment

After an emphatic 66 run win in the second one dayer against the South Africans, Pakistan captain Misbah ul Haq believes that come the third one day international on November 6, Pakistan will be holding all the cards. Misbah’s men have been the better of two teams so far and had it not been for a monumental collapse down the stretch in the first one dayer, Pakistan would easily have been 2-0 up in the five match series.

The hosts however shrugged off that defeat with a comprehensive win in the second one dayer, even though they scored only 209 runs while batting first. Misbah believes that his team is playing its strengths.

“We played some very good cricket so far. I think we have the confidence as a team to put in another match winning performance here. We haven’t fired with the bat yet, but our bowling and ground fielding have been good, which are our strengths right now.”

The skipper also stressed the importance of the next game to be played at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.

 “If we can do that I think we are in a good position to take the series,” he added.
