Karachi stock exchange falls after Pak-US tensions
Tuesday, November 5th, 2013 11:29:59 by Ahmad MehdiAfter growing tensions between Pakistan and United States of America, traders understand why Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) went down on Monday.
The KSE-100 index lost 1.2 percent or 271.26 points to close at the 22,377.83 mark.
It has been analyzed that if the tensions keep on rising, it is going to effect the balance of payments for Pakistan.
D.G. Khan Cement lost 2.86 percent to Rs. 68.60. On the other hand, Engro Corporation lost 2.09 percent, closing at Rs. 121.15.
