Telenor introduces Talkshawk Mohafiz Zindagi Beema

ISLAMABAD – November 11, 2013: In line with the global strategy of empowering societies through innovation,  Telenor Pakistan has announced the launch of Telenor Talkshawk Mohafiz Zindagi Beema in collaboration with Jubilee Life Insurance Company and MicroEnsure Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited at a local hotel here in Islamabad.

Talkshawk Mohafiz Zindagi Beema is cellular industry’s first free insurance offering, which is aimed at providing affordable and hassle free service to its customers, many of whom have no insurance cover. The offer enables Telenor Talkshawk subscribers consuming a balance of at least Rs. 200 per month to avail life insurance ranging from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 100,000 for the next month, depending on their monthly mobile usage. Talkshawk subscribers can avail this free of cost service by simply dialing *345*101# from their mobile phones.

Addressing the launch ceremony, Usman Javaid, Director Marketing, Telenor Pakistan said, “Talkshawk Mohafiz Zindagi Beema is yet another unique offering to provide absolute convenience to our customers while protecting them from financial worries as a result of unforeseen events. Talkshawk Mohafiz Zindagi Beema’s policy plan gives non-exclusion insurance cover to its subscribers in all cases, irrespective of the cause of death. Insurance claims will be payable to a pre-defined beneficiary or legal title holder.
