28 people accused for Rawalpindi incident

The Law Minister of Punjab, Rana Sanaullah, stated on Thursday that after going through investigation for the Raja Bazar incident, 28 people have been accused an identified for being involved in the violence act of 10th of Moharram.

 

Out of the 28 people who have been accused, 16 are in the custody of the police and interrogations are still going on according to the Law Minister of Punjab as he was giving out a news conference near Punjab House.

The accused people have been identified through TV cameras, footages, and other evidences and the identity of any of these 28 people is not under question. According to Rana Sanuallah, 11 innocent people died alongside 56 others because of these 28 people who have been identified.

He also stated that the team is still working on this case and investigating for more transparent proofs in order to add more people to the list of the ones who have been arrested.
