Nawaz Sharif to host farewell dinner for General Kayani

It has been reported from Islamabad that the current Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, is going to host a farewell dinner for the retiring chief General, Ahfaq Pervez Kayani. Kayani’s extended term is about to come to an end come this November 28th.
Several important people will become a part of this farewell dinner. Reports claim that invitation letters have been sent to the influential people of the armed forces, the leaders of the opposition and the national assembly. Moreover, leaders of several political parties will also take part in this dinner.
Sources claim that the senior most commanders of the Pakistani army will also get a chance to meet up with General Kayani as one of them will be taking his seat once he retires on the 28th of November. These senior commanders include Lt Gen Haroon Aslam, Lt Gen Rashad Mehmood, Lt Gen Tariq Khan and Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen Zaheerul Islam.
