PTI sit-ins enters fifth day
Wednesday, November 27th, 2013 6:00:14 by Ahmad MehdiIt has been five days since PTI is sitting in order to ask the government to ban the NATO supplies from Afghanistan. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is behind the sit-in and they are currently being backed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s ruling alliance.
The protestors have managed to block the supplies from five different points in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as they are determined that they are against the US drone attacks.
Several political workers were able to stop the high amount of NATO trucks which tried to enter Pakistan from the Afghan border. Not a single member of the NATO forces received anything during these five days.
PTI also claims that there must be a case lodged against CIA (US Central Intelligence Agency) chief and the station chief in Islamabad as they claim that these drones are operated by this agency and they are responsible for all the lives lost.
PTI chairman, Imran Khan, has been opposing US drone strikes as he believes that it is a violation of Islamabad’s territorial sovereignty.
