MQM accuses PPP for bringing its own Nazims

It was reported on Thursday that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader, Dr. Farooq Sattar, came out in the open and accused the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for trying to force its own Nazims into the next local government setup.
Dr. Sattar was giving a speech in a private university in Karachi and he claimed that his party already has reservations for the amended Sindh Local Government Ordinance of 2013. However, he stated:
“People’s Party wants to forcibly bring its own Nazims.”
He also admitted the fact that even if a person from Pakistan’s People’s Party is going to become a Nazim, he will have absolutely no authority because the amended ordinance takes away that power.
While addressing the private university, Dr. Sattar said:
“Prior permission from the Sindh Chief Minister will have to be taken before taking every decision.”
