Gunman Kills MWM Leader
Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013 6:05:20 by Ahmad MehdiIt was reported from Karachi that unknown gunmen, who were riding on University Road, fired at Majlis-e-Wahadat-e-Muslimeen Allama, Deedar Jalbani’s car and killed him and his bodyguard.
The incident was reported on Tuesday afternoon during rush hours. Two unknown gunmen, who were riding a motorbike and were wearing helmets, fired at a car which was later found to be Jalbani’s.
The initial reports claimed that the incident took place near NED University, situated on University Road, Karachi.
The firing left Majlis-e-Wahadat-e-Muslimeen Allama, Deedar Jalbani, and his guard injured. The two were rushed to a nearby hospital.
Both men were seriously injured and it was hard for them to recover from the wounds which they suffered. Soon the two were reported dead and the news was broken on television media.
Police have confirmed the whole incident, stating that they are still trying their best to identify who the two unknown gunmen were. However, it is going to be difficult since no one has a record of the licence plate of the motorbike. Moreover, both the riders were wearing helmets so identifying their faces is going to be a lot of problem.
Police forces have claimed that they are going to try and locate these bikers through security cameras but it is going to take some time.
