Dubai Newspaper Criticizes Pakistan

Pakistan recently had to choose between two allied countries as it had to vote for the World Expo 2020 with Dubai and Turkey both contesting for the prize.

The South Asian nation was in a fix and later voted Turkey as the best country to hold the World Expo in the year 2020. However, Dubai has criticized how Pakistan did not vote for them even though Dubai has been extremely welcoming in terms of trades, jobs and other opportunities.

There are several Pakistani workers currently residing in Dubai and after voting Turkey as the best candidate to hold the World Expo in the year 2020, Dubai is of the opinion that Pakistan has not thanked Dubai in the right manner.

A Dubai newspaper wrote against Islamabad and challenged its credibility as a friend. It stated that Pakistan wasted no time in selecting Turkey as the best country to host the 2020 World Expo but forgot about how Dubai has helped them out in trade over the years. The headline of this news read: “Dubai and Afghanistan betrayed a friend!”

The newspaper had to write a balanced and unbiased opinion regarding the situation but they criticized the government and the people of Pakistan even though the general public has nothing to do with who the government’s decision.
