It was reported from Peshawar that a fire broke out in a plastic factory situated in the city. The fire fighters tried to douse the fire for more than six hours and were finally able to get in under control.

It was reported that the fire broke out in the warehouse of the plastic factory around 10:00PM night and it kept growing until 6:00PM.

There were at least 10 fire fighters who were present at the site. Several people surrounded the area but the security personnel requested them to move back to their houses as it was not safe.

There was not a single life lost during the whole scenario. It was reported that only two guards were giving night duty in the cargo warehouse and they both flew when they saw smoke rising from inside the building.

The loss is estimated to be more than 10 million rupees as there were several plastic ornaments and even leather jackets in the warehouse.

10 fire fighters arrived at the scene when the situation went extremely out of hand. Black smoke covered the sky and it was hard for these 10 fire fights to get things under control in time.

Fire officials claimed that they will be able to bring the situation under control within two to three hours but it took them ten hours to do so.
