Cabinet Committee to Meet Regarding National Security

It has been reported from Islamabad that Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, has requested a meeting of the cabinet to be held on Tuesday and he has stated that the agenda for the meeting is going to be the national security of the country.

 

Currently Pakistan is operating on a national security policy which was designed by the previous government which was headed by the Pakistan People’s Party member, Asif Ali Zardari.

It is now being reported that this meeting is going to help form a new national security policy. The interior ministry is expected to give a draft on the national security policy by nightfall.

Other sources claimed that this meeting will target each and every aspect regarding the national security of Pakistan. It was stated from the same source that a comprehensive review will be made on the prevalent internal and external security of the country. Moreover, a new strategy will be designed regarding the peace talks which are expected to take place with Talibans.

This meeting is of utmost importance for the Pakistani nation. That is the reason why the Prime Minster of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, has requested all the chiefs of armed forces and cabinet members to be a part of this meeting.
