CNG Stations Reopen in Sindh after 1 Day’s Load Shedding
Thursday, December 19th, 2013 1:52:16 by Ahmad MehdiIt was reported on Wednesday that the CNG stations in Sindh are to be closed throughout the day. Several people experienced problems due to this. Since most of the vehicles in Sindh use CNG as their major fuel, less transport was seen on Thursday morning.
Moreover, long gas lines were present throughout the cities of Sindh. Karachi experienced the highest amount of problem. Since the traffic situation in the city is extremely poor, people are having a lot of problem.
After 24-hour of gas load shedding in the CNG stations, most of the vehicles were parked outside the CNG pumps. This has disrupted several major roads in Karachi.
Yesterday a statement was released by Sindh government that the whole province will not be getting any CNG on Wednesday. However, many expected that this is going to continue until Sunday.
Today another statement came out that the CNG stations should reopen in Sindh after there were none opened on Wednesday.
Pakistan is currently experiencing load shedding in not only electricity but also gas. This is because the consumption of both these commodities is higher than their availability.
Islamabad and other major cities still don’t have CNG available to them throughout the week.
