Khwaja Asif: Domestic Consumers Will Face More Load Shedding
Thursday, December 19th, 2013 1:51:13 by Ahmad MehdiIt was reported from Islamabad that the local consumers of electricity in the capital city are going to experience load shedding. The minister for Water and Power Development Authority, Khwaja Asif, came out in the open and explained the situation to the public. He stated that the capital city will be experiencing more load shedding even during winters.
The NTDC, National Transmission and Despatch Company, recently issued a statement where they stated that power outages should be increased due to the amount of overload. In order to keep up to the statement released by NTDC, Khwaja Asif claimed that Islamabad is going to experience more load shedding for at least two months.
Khwaja Asif also talked about the gas load shedding which has been taking place over the course of last three months. He stated that since the industries are going to be getting most of the gas supplies, Pakistan will experience a gas load shedding over the next few weeks. This statement was released after Sindh decided to cut down the gas supplies on Wednesday.
Khwaja Asif apologized to the national for the inconvenience being caused and claimed that the consumers should try their best to save electricity and gas.

There is no comparison. This current corrupt government has broken all records in just 6 months. Just the thought of having to deal with them for another 4-1/2 years shivers me. 600 billion rupees taken out of poor people’s pockets, and no one knows where it went. Someone converted it into dollars and then laundered it out of the country. Then Sen. Pervaiz Rasheed informed us about digit growth. He must be talking about the growth of the Sharif Enterprises. Now we hear that PM’s daughter will oversee 100 billion rupees. My goodbye to that 100 billion as well.
