Rangers Arrest 37 in Karachi

It was recently reported from Karachi that the rangers carried out an operation in several metropolis areas of Karachi and they arrested 37 individuals, who were thought to be involved in different illegal activities within in the city.

The Rangers spokesman came out in the open and explained the whole situation and why the operation was carried out. He stated that a person who was accused of several crimes was arrested from Lyari area of the city. He also explained how the police and the rangers are currently trying to round up all the people who are involved in such activities.

A worker of the organization Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan as also arrested during the raids. This happened when the rangers were carrying out their operation in the Maripur area. The accused is identified as Ramazan alias Ramzu.

It was also revealed that this person, who they managed to caught, had a Rs. 5 lakh bounty on him.

The rangers did not end their operation there; in fact, they carried out their raids in New Karachi, F B Area, Manghopir, Fareed Colony, Banaras, Chanesar Goth, Lines Area and even the Sara Compound amongst other areas of Lyari. In total 37 people were arrested from these areas.

Several weapons such as SMGs, rifles and rocket launchers were recovered from the people who were caught by the rangers on the night.
