Baluchistan Government to Stage Sit-In outside Parliament House
Saturday, December 28th, 2013 5:09:40 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from the city of Quetta that the Baluchistan Government has announced that they will be observing and staging a sit-in against the kidnapping of random people in the province. It has been reported that people in Baluchistan are being kidnapped for heavy ransom.
The Provincial Information Minister, Jaffar Mandokhel, came out in the open and addressed a conference on Saturday where he spoke to the media. He stated and talked about staging a sit-in outside Pakistan’s parliament house on the 12th of January, 2014. He also offered other opposition parties to take part in this sit-in as he believes that it is for an extremely good cause.
While talking about the leaders of different political parties, Jaffar Mandokhel said that they are all holding a meeting with President President Mamnoon Hussain and the current Prime Minister, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, on 10th of January 2014. He then claimed that they are going to apprise the federal government regarding the situation.
He also demanded the law enforcement agencies and the security forces to bring an end to such kidnappings.
While this press conference took place, several important personalities became a part of it including the likes of Abdul Raheem Ziaratwal.
