Shah Mehmood Qureshi Opposes the Idea of Dividing Sindh

It was reported from Karachi that the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaan (PTI) leader, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, came out in the open to oppose the idea regarding the division of Sindh as it was proposed by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Atlaf Hussain in his speech which he gave on Sunday.
While talking to the media personnel at the Karachi airport, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Sindh should stay the same and the current form should be maintained for years to come.
MQM chief, Altaf Hussain, spoke to the people of Karachi and through the telephone and presented an idea of dividing Sindh into two parts, claiming that it will be easier to govern it that way.
However, PTI has already claimed that this move will not have any positive impact on the country’s and the province’s current situation.
Qureshi also spoke about the local bodies’ elections which are about to start in all of the provinces. He stated that if these elections are a replica of what happened on May 11th then there is no point of holding them. He also said that PTI is going to make sure that clean and clear elections take place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
