3 Militants Killed in Crossfire – Karachi
Thursday, January 9th, 2014 10:28:32 by Ahmad MehdiIt was reported from Karachi that three militants, who were trying to resist through heavy arms, were killed after a few policemen busted a terrorist hideout in Mangho Pir Area.
Sources in the Central Investigation Department explained the whole scenario to the media and stated that the three suspected outlaws belonged to Tehreek E Taliban Pakistan.
It all started when the police got a heavy lead on a secret hideout in Mangho Pir. They decided to bust the hideout and were met with heavy resistance. After heavy cross firing, the three men exhausted their ammo and fought till their last breath. However, later the CID took over.
The cross firing left the three men seriously wounded and even though they were rushed to the nearest hospital, they were all pronounced as dead. When the media personnel asked about the cause of their death, it was said that they died of excessive bleeding from multiple bullet wounds.
It was also revealed that all these three militants were wanted because they had killed cops before.
Later, a car full of explosives and a cache of firearms was seen at the crime scene and they were all taken under custody.
Only a single policeman was injured throughout the encounter.
