It was recently reported from Qilla Saifullah that two brothers died because of suffocation on Thursday night.

Such incidents have taken place several times before. Both the brothers fell asleep after igniting a heater. Usually the deaths occur because of the gas present inside small room. However, this time the coal-run heater absorbed the entire oxygen inside the room and both the brothers died because they were unable to breathe.

The family members, who were outside the room, realized that there were absolutely no sounds coming from the room in the morning. When they entered the room, they found the brothers absolutely unconscious.

Despite rushing them to the nearest hospital, the doctors could not do much and they were both pronounced death after an hour.

The two brothers were the only children in the family. After their deaths, their bodies were handed over to their family. The funeral was held in a nearby mosque and several people were present as they mourned the loss of their loved ones.

It is mandatory to mention that heaters (electric, gas or coal) must not remain ignited throughout the night. This is extremely dangerous for the people who are inside the room, especially if the room is closed.
