Gas Pipeline Blown in Dera Murad Jamali

It was reported from Quetta that a gas pipeline has been blows in Dera Murad Jamali. No one has taken the responsibility for the incident but sources claim that a 24-inch diameter gas pipeline was blown up by unidentified miscreants on Friday night.
Such problems have occurred in the past where unidentified people would simply barge in and blow the gas pipeline. This becomes a problem for the local residents as well as the people living in other provinces.
Police has stated that Notaal is the area where the bombing took place and it has severely damaged the gas pipeline. This is the reason why several districts of Balochistan are not receiving any gas. This includes the capital city of Balochistan, Quetta, where there is currently no gas supply.
Right after the bomb exploded, the gas pipeline caught fire and people living in nearby areas heard a huge explosion. This is because the methane gas did not take too much time to set ablaze.
Right after the incident, Sui Southern Gas Company, took over the situation and managed to extinguish the fire in time. Soon the repair work also started with the law enforcement agencies cordoning the area.
The gas supply is expected to be restored soon.
