Malala Yousafzai Praises Aitzaz Hassan

In a recent event which took place in a school in Hangu, a young boy named Aitzaz Hassan decided to lay down his life only to save the students of his school.

While standing guard outside the school premises, the boy encountered a suicide bomber on his own. While his friend ran off in order to save his life, Aitzaz Hassan decided to stop the bomber and as soon as he hugged him, the bomber decided to detonate what was on his chest. The explosion took the life of not only the suicide bomber but also Aitzaz Hassan.

Aitzaz is now being hailed as a hero in not only Hangu, but in all of Pakistan. He might also be receiving Nishan E Haider due to his bravery.

In recent news, Malala Yousafzai, who is famous in Pakistan for representing Pakistan in the UN and supporting children and girl’s education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has praised the Hangu hero.

While addressing the press and talking about Aitzaz Hassan, Malala said, “In sacrificing his own life, Aitzaz protected hundreds of innocent young students from being killed. I wish that in giving his own life he helps to bring peace to my people and my country. His bravery must never be forgotten.”
