Sheikh Rasheed Receiving Threats from Taliban Groups

It was recently revealed by Sheikh Rasheed himself that he is receiving death threats from Taliban groups.
The Awani Muslim League (AML) chief and current MNA, Sheikh Rasheed, came out in the open and spoke to the media about how he has been receiving death threats from different Taliban groups. He stated that Rawalpindi’s administration has asked him to take all the necessary security precausions in order to remain safe.
Taliban groups have been targeting quite a lot of famous personalities of Pakistan. The most recent was the SP CID, Chaudhry Aslam, who lost his life after an explosives-laden car crashed into his vehicle. Even his death has come as a shock to many because he was the person responsible for running all the operations against Tehreek E Taliban.
Soon after his death the outlawed, Tehreek E Taliban Pakistan took responsibility of the incident and claimed that they have done it because he was responsible for the death of many Taliban personnel. They also stated that with him gone they are now going to target other people responsible for the death of their people.
Sheikh Rasheed has now recently revealed that he is also in the hit-list of Tehreek E Taliban.
