Karachi Police Arrests 24 More Suspects

Karachi Police has been on high alert since the death of SP CID, Chaudhry Aslam. The rangers and the police are working closely in order to round up different suspects and groups who are involved in any unlawful activities.

This has resulted in a lot of arrests because the police and the rangers have been rounding up several people since the past two months. During the time of SP CID, Chaudhry Aslam, these operations were quite common where the security forces would raid on different places in order to arrest people who are involved in terrorist activities or even in supplying drugs or arms.

In the most recent event, Karachi police managed to get their hands on more than two dozen suspects who might be involved in different unlawful activities. The raid took place on Sunday night, according to different sources.

It was also reported that Kemari Police was in charge of the operation and in order to arrest different suspects they conducted raids in Sher Shah, Sultanabad, Machchar Colony and Mawach Goth. During these raids they managed to round up more than 24 offenders. Sources in the security forces claim that these people are fugitives, drug peddlers and gamblers.

 Narcotics and motorcycles were also seized in the process.
