IHC Orders Government to Provide Bullet-Proof Car to Iftikhar Chaudhry

It was reported from Islamabad that the High Court has given a verdict regarding the security of former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. Two months ago Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry came out in the open and claimed how he has been receiving death threats from several different unknown men and he would like the government to provide him full security.

Islamabad High Court decided to provide him with full security and ordered the government to do so. However, now Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has once again spoken about how he has a threat on his life and would require a bullet-proof car. The High Court has once again heard the plea of the former Chief Justice of Pakistan and has ordered the government to provide him with what he needs.

Justice Shaukat Siddique was the one listening to the petition which claimed that the security of the former Chief Justice should be equivalent to former Prime Ministers of Pakistan. Therefore, he gave the final verdict where he ordered to government to provide former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, with a bullet-proof car which is going to aid him in travelling safely to different places in the country.
